The 2025 selection of the named scholarship program, jointly organized by Toyota Sales Mongolia LLC and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), was successfully completed.
This scholarship is implemented with the support of the Toyota Foundation, established by the late Dr. Shoichiro Toyoda, Honorary Doctor of MUST and former President of Toyota Motor Corporation, in collaboration with Toyota Sales Mongolia. The program aims to contribute to the development of the automotive and engineering industries in Mongolia by supporting the education of skilled professionals.
As part of the 2025 scholarship program, 12 students from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Transportation (MITS) at MUST were selected as recipients. Each student was awarded a scholarship of 2,000,000 MNT, along with the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships at the official dealer companies of Toyota Sales Mongolia LLC.
The scholarship recipients were selected from the following academic programs:
Automotive Engineering – 6 students
Mechatronic Engineering (Automotive Electronic Systems) – 6 students
The scholarship selection process was conducted in two stages. In the first round, applications were evaluated based on academic records, social engagement, and participation in professional activities. In the second round, selected students were invited to individual interviews conducted by Toyota professionals, where their attitudes, motivation, and future goals were assessed.
From the students:
G. Maral-Erdene (3rd-year student, MITS):
"The interview stage was the most challenging part, but I think being confident in speaking about the field I am passionate about helped me succeed in earning the scholarship."
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the scholarship awardees and wish them continued success in their studies and professional careers. We are confident that your talent and dedication will make a real contribution to the development of Mongolia's engineering industry.
